| When I began making hand poured baits, it was more a hobby and the self satisfaction of knowing I was able to make baits that could fool old Mr. Bass. Then as other anglers began to see my baits on the ends of my hook they began to gain attention. Soon anglers were asking me about them, shortly after that they began wanting to try some and after that they requested to buy some of my home-made baits. Doug, just pull down the cusor for a limit of bass. Yes, Hometown baits really work! I will be using your flukes, worms and frogs at Okeechobee in about two wekes at the FLW tornament! I guess I am probably one of Hometown Baits oldest customers and when he sent me the first samples back years ago I had to take a double take. They didn't look like anything special. I went fishing a few days later and I decided to try some of them. The hits were remarkable to say the least. The hooks sets were easier because the fish held on to them longer. Hometown has got my flukes business forever!!! I have collected more checks at tournaments since I began using his flukes than I ever did with any other companies soft jerk baits. They float much better and hook sets are more successful in most cases in weeds for sure. Larry H. Mo. |
